Business Traveler
You won't find them cheaper in Mountain View. The hotel is smoky and kind of grungy, but not in a scary way. I'm pretty sure that the county is housing low risk homeless people here. They have been very good neighbors the two times I've stayed here. They probably are the cause of the smoke (Schizos like to smoke), but are otherwise quiet. ...read more

Solo Traveler
The first room they gave us was not cleaned up and the bed was not made. Also, there were two people staying in the room and they said the room they booked for us only had one bed. They made us pay $10 extra dollars per night for an extra pull out bed. The hotel staff was not friendly. was pretty worried given all the reviews talking about the strange smells. Wasn't bad at all and I'm hugely sensitive to smells. The room was a good size, small balcony, kitchen facilities in good repair. totally basic and a little tacky, but much better than expected especially at 3-4x less cost than most other 2 or 3 star hotels in mountain view. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast wasn't great but not the worst either. Once you factor in breakfast and free WiFi, you really can't do better. This hotel was in a convenient location, clean, friendly staff. Had a nice breakfast for a small hotel, both hot and cold foods, but stopped serving at 8:30am.
